QUEER KLIT FOKUS
ALL THINGS CLITORIS/ Clitoris is the most optimistic element of the feminine body, as the only organ whose only function is pleasure. Queer Zagreb therefore delivers a series of programs designed to raise the visibility of the complete clitoral anatomy. In May, a series of workshops will be held, where participants will make 3D clitoral models, embroid clitoris with feminist quotations, read and discuss all things clitoris. As a crown of everything, the mighty clitoris also enters the public space, with a large installation of a clitoris in full bloom will be set up on one of Zagreb’s squares.
SUPER KLITA!
Presentation of a clit comic book
As we all know, not all the heroes wear capes. And many heroes are actually heroines. The secret life of the clit heroine, Super Klita, is represented by illustrators and comic authors Ivana Armanini, Maja Maar, Ena Jurov, Ira Bulić and Lucía Aimara Borjas. As for the clitoris not to remain an unknown heroine, let’s get to know her figure and character – and all her impressive super powers.
Ivana Armanini is a comic author and illustrator. Her work is inseparable from activism and social context. She graduated from the School of Applied Arts and Design and the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb (Mag. Art, Rector’s Award). She is a member of the Croatian Community of Independent Artists and the platform Woman who Draw. She had 5 standalone comic releases: The Adventures of Gloria Scott-2005. (based on stories of Mima Simić); Katalog-2016 .; FMCX 2017; Mangelos Vol. 1 2017 (based on scenario by Marko Golub). She launched and leads Komikaze KOMIKAZE (2002-), a network for the production, promotion and distribution of authorial comic books with a focus on the independent scene. In the framework of the network, she published and exhibited on over 200 events: exhibitions, workshops, fairs and festivals in Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, Italy, France, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Hungary, Austria, USA, Canada, Poland, Portugal and Romania.
